A Discord server where your bot runs for real. Everything can be built and tried in Test for free; a live server is one you pick on your plan to run it in.
At the end of the period you paid for, the plan changes. If the new plan has fewer live servers, the extra ones are paused, not deleted. Switch back and they run again.

No. Every bot runs on our servers, and keeping it online is our job. You never rent a server, install anything or restart it. A bot with your own name and avatar (Pro and up) runs on ours too.
No, each has its own plan, so you pay only for what you use. A Minecraft plan covers Minecraft servers and a Discord plan covers Discord servers. Cancel one and the other keeps running.
