Make it attack
Make a mob go after a player, as if the player had hit it.
A Minecraft element (a step) in Entities & mobs. Needs the Basic plan or higher to go live; building and testing are free.
Example
When a player enters a region → Spawn an entity: minecraft:zombie → Make it attack them.
