Custom model data

The same item with a custom model data number a resource pack can turn into a new look, or with it removed.

Try it on your server

A Minecraft element (a value) in Items & inventories. Needs the Basic plan or higher to go live; building and testing are free.

Example

When a player joins → Make an item minecraft:stick → Custom model data 7 → Give an item stack.
