Check for AFK
Who a message mentions that's away, with their notes. Put it on every message.
afk.check
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, check for AFK.”
When a message is sent → Check for AFK → If How many > 0 → Reply with As text.
What it does
Who a message mentions that's away, with their notes. Put it on every message. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Community in the palette.
When to use it
Make one flow on every message: Back from AFK first (for the author), then Check for AFK (for who they mention), then Reply when How many is above 0.
When not to
Notes stay until the member's next message clears them.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Text Text
-
The message to look through for mentions, like the message's text.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
