Sort list
Put a list in order. Numbers sort as numbers.
list.sort
In a flow
“Works out sort list whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
[10, 9, 100] → [9, 10, 100]
What it does
Put a list in order. Numbers sort as numbers. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: put a list in order. Numbers sort as numbers.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- List List
-
The list to sort.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a list. e.g. Hello there, and more like it
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
