Channels · Step
Set channel topic
Change the line under a channel's name.
channel.set_topic
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, set channel topic.”
Set the topic to "Open until 6 pm".
What it does
Change the line under a channel's name. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Channels in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow works with channels: change the line under a channel's name.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

The channel to change. Leave empty for here: where this happened, or the new place in an "In the new …" branch.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a channel. e.g. #general
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
