Flatten lists
Turn a list of lists into one list.
list.flatten
In a flow
“Works out flatten lists whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
[[1, 2], [3]] → [1, 2, 3]
What it does
Turn a list of lists into one list. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: turn a list of lists into one list.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- List List
-
The list to use, like the Parts from Split text.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a list. e.g. Hello there, and more like it
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
