Keep some fields
Keep only some fields of an object and drop the rest.
object.pick_keys
In a flow
“Works out keep some fields whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
{"a":1,"b":2} keep a → {"a":1}
What it does
Keep only some fields of an object and drop the rest. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: keep only some fields of an object and drop the rest.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
