In a flow

“Works out undo look-alike letters whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”

Message posted → Undo look-alike letters → Text contains any (your blocked words).

What it does

Make a text plain for a word filter: small letters, no accents or invisible characters, fancy and full-width letters made ordinary, and 0→o, 1→i, 3→e, 4→a, 5→s, @→a, $→s. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Protection in the palette.

When to use it

Before a word filter, so h3ll0, hello and héllo all read as hello.

When not to

Not for text you post back: it lowers capitals and changes numbers to letters.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

Text Text

The text to check, like {message.content}.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Values it gives

Text Text

The plain text. e.g. hello

If it's empty: Empty when the step didn't make one (it stopped early or was skipped); steps reading it get nothing.
