Count in list
How many times an item is in a list.
list.count_of
In a flow
“Works out count in list whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
[a, b, a] count a → 2
What it does
How many times an item is in a list. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: how many times an item is in a list.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
