Logic · Check
In a ticket
True when the channel is a ticket (open ones only, unless you turn that off). Empty Ticket: the channel a command was run in.
tickets.is_ticket
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, if “In a ticket” is true, reply with a message.”
/close: only run inside a ticket, else say "Use this in a ticket."
What it does
True when the channel is a ticket (open ones only, unless you turn that off). Empty Ticket: the channel a command was run in. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Logic in the palette.
When to use it
Use it to decide what happens next: true when the channel is a ticket (open ones only, unless you turn that off). Empty Ticket: the channel a command was run in.
When not to
To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Ticket Channel
-
The ticket's channel or thread. Leave empty for here, or inside "In the ticket".
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a channel. e.g. #general
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
