Wait
Pause the Flow for a while.
wait
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, wait.”
What it does
Pause the Flow for a while. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Messages in the palette.
When to use it
Pause before the next step: a reminder later, a timed role, a slow reveal.
When not to
For anything over a few days use a schedule trigger instead; a long wait is lost if the flow is changed.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Seconds Number needed
-
How long to wait. At most 7 days.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a number. e.g. 42
If it's empty: Needed. Publish lists it until it's set or wired; the step can't run without it.
