What it does
Save a value, change a number by some, or add to a list. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Messages in the palette.
When to use it
Remember a value between runs: a counter, a member's choice, a last-seen date.
When not to
For a value only this run needs, wire it straight from the node that made it.
