Ask a question: What's your Minecraft name? (must match ^[A-Za-z0-9_]{3,16}$) → If Answered → Set nickname.

What it does

Ask one question and wait for an answer that fits: text that matches a pattern, a number in range, one of some choices, yes or no, a file, a member, a role, a channel or a date. Asked again when it doesn't fit. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 12 values later steps can use. Find it under Applications in the palette.

When to use it

Use it for applications: ask one question and wait for an answer that fits: text that matches a pattern, a number in range, one of some choices, yes or no, a file, a member, a role, a channel or a date. Asked again when it doesn't fit.

When not to

If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.

For text: the most characters, up to 1000.

For a number: the lowest it can be, like 13. Empty is no limit.
