Edit role
Rename a role, change its colour or what it may do.
role.edit
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, edit role.”
Turn @Event red while the event runs.
What it does
Rename a role, change its colour or what it may do. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Members & roles in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow acts on a member: rename a role, change its colour or what it may do.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Role Role needed
-
The role to change, like @Member.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a role. e.g. @Verified
If it's empty: Needed. Publish lists it until it's set or wired; the step can't run without it.
