Protection · Check
Has permission
True when a member has a permission, server-wide or in one channel.
member.has_permission
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, if “Has permission” is true, reply with a message.”
/purge → If Has permission manage_messages → Purge; else → Reply: you can't.
What it does
True when a member has a permission, server-wide or in one channel. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Protection in the palette.
When to use it
Use it to keep the server safe: true when a member has a permission, server-wide or in one channel.
When not to
To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Who Member
-
Leave unwired for the member who started the flow, or wire one in, like Member from Find member.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a member. e.g. @Alex
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
