math.series_sum
In a flow
“Works out sum of a series whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
1 to 100 → 5,050
What it does
Add up a run of numbers that step evenly (1 to 100, 5 to 50 by 5), and how many terms it has. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: add up a run of numbers that step evenly (1 to 100, 5 to 50 by 5), and how many terms it has.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
