role.find
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, find role by name.”
/join-team name → Find role by name → If Found → Give role.
What it does
A role by its name, like one a member typed. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Members & roles in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow acts on a member: A role by its name, like one a member typed.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
