In a flow

“When a button is clicked, if “Is it their turn” is true, reply with a message.”

If Is it their turn → Drop in a column, else Reply: wait for your turn.

What it does

Whether it is the member's move in a match that's playing. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Games & fun in the palette.

When to use it

Use it for games and fun: whether it is the member's move in a match that's playing.

When not to

To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.

Match Text

Which match: the message it's played on, like {message.id} on a button, or Sent message's id.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses {message.id}.

Who Member

Leave unwired for the member who started the flow (the one who clicked), or wire one in.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a member. e.g. @Alex

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
