In a flow
“When a button is clicked, member's message count.”
/me → Member's message count → Reply: you've posted {node.n.count} messages.
What it does
How many messages a member posted since counting began, and their place. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 2 values later steps can use. Find it under Statistics in the palette.
When to use it
Use it to see how the server is doing: how many messages a member posted since counting began, and their place.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Who Member
-
Leave unwired for the member who started the flow, or wire one in, like Member from Find member.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a member. e.g. @Alex
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
