Lock or unlock channel
Stop a role sending messages in a channel, or let it again.
channel.lock
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, lock or unlock channel.”
Lock #general for @everyone at midnight.
What it does
Stop a role sending messages in a channel, or let it again. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Channels in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow works with channels: stop a role sending messages in a channel, or let it again.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a channel. e.g. #general
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
