Is interested in event

Whether a member said they're interested in an event.

Basic plan event.is_interested

In a flow

“When a button is clicked, if “Is interested in event” is true, reply with a message.”

If Is interested in event → Give role Attending.

What it does

Whether a member said they're interested in an event. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Server in the palette.

When to use it

Use it when the flow changes the server itself: whether a member said they're interested in an event.

When not to

To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

Event Text

The event: Event id from Create event, or the event's link.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Who Member

Leave unwired for the member who started the flow, or wire one in, like Member from Find member.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a member. e.g. @Alex

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
