“Works out rescale whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
50 from 0-100 onto 0-20 → 10
What it does
Move a number from one range to another: 0 to 100 percent onto 0 to 20 bars. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: move a number from one range to another: 0 to 100 percent onto 0 to 20 bars.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
