Set their language
Remember which language a member wants the bot's messages in.
lang.set
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, set their language.”
Layout menu of languages → When picked → Set their language {trigger.choice}.
What it does
Remember which language a member wants the bot's messages in. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Community in the palette.
When to use it
Use it for community features: remember which language a member wants the bot's messages in.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Language Text
-
A language code, like en, es, fr or pt-BR. Empty forgets their choice.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses es.

- Who Member
-
Leave unwired for the member who started the flow, or wire one in, like Member from Find member.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a member. e.g. @Alex
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
