Channels · Step
Set voice channel status
Set the status line under a voice channel's name, like what's being played.
voice.set_status
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, set voice channel status.”
Room created → Set voice channel status 🎮 {user.name}'s room.
What it does
Set the status line under a voice channel's name, like what's being played. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Channels in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow works with channels: set the status line under a voice channel's name, like what's being played.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

The voice channel. Empty is the one they're in.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a channel. e.g. #general
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
