Take from each
One value from every object of a list, like each row's name.
list.pluck
In a flow
“Works out take from each whenever a step wired to it needs the answer.”
[{name: Sam}, {name: Alex}] → [Sam, Alex]
What it does
One value from every object of a list, like each row's name. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 1 value later steps can use. Find it under Values in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when a step needs a value worked out first: one value from every object of a list, like each row's name.
When not to
For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

-
A list of objects.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a list. e.g. Hello there, and more like it
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
