Announce
Post an announcement, ping one role, publish it to following servers if it's an announcement channel, and open a thread for replies if you like.
announce.post
In a flow
“When a button is clicked, announce.”
/announce → Announce in #news, ping @Updates, open a thread.
What it does
Post an announcement, ping one role, publish it to following servers if it's an announcement channel, and open a thread for replies if you like. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. It gives 3 values later steps can use. Find it under Messages in the palette.
When to use it
Every announcement in one step: the post, one role pinged, published to following servers in an announcement channel, and a thread for replies.
When not to
It never pings @everyone; use Send message with Allow @everyone for that. Discord publishes at most 10 posts an hour per channel, so the 11th is posted but not published.
