In a flow
“When a player joins → Make an item minecraft:totem_of_undying → Set the off hand.”
When a player joins → Make an item minecraft:totem_of_undying → Set the off hand.
What it does
Put an item in a player's off hand, replacing what was there. Unwired empties it. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Items & inventories in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow needs to: put an item in a player's off hand, replacing what was there. Unwired empties it.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
- Item Item
-
What to give: wire one in, like Item from Make an item.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in an item. e.g. 3× Diamond
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
