Read a location

Read x y z, or world x y z, as a location. A ~ means the spot where the player is standing, or an offset from it.

Basic plan m.cmd.read_location

In a flow

“When a player uses /warp → Read a location from the line → Teleport them there.”

When a player uses /warp → Read a location from the line → Teleport them there.

What it does

Read x y z, or world x y z, as a location. A ~ means the spot where the player is standing, or an offset from it. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 3 values later steps can use. Find it under Commands in the palette.

When to use it

Use it when the flow needs to: read x y z, or world x y z, as a location. A ~ means the spot where the player is standing, or an offset from it.

When not to

For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

Text Text

Like 10 64 -5 or world 10 64 -5. ~ means where the player stands. Variables allowed.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses {trigger.args}.

Player Player

The player ~ is relative to and whose world it is: leave unwired for the player who started the flow.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a player. e.g. Alex

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Values it gives

The location. e.g. world 10 64 -5

If it's empty: Empty when the step didn't make one (it stopped early or was skipped); steps reading it get nothing.
