Angle toward a place

The yaw and pitch someone at one place would need to face another, and the first place turned to face it.

Basic plan m.world.look_at

In a flow

“When a player uses a command → Angle toward a place → Teleport them to Facing.”

When a player uses a command → Angle toward a place → Teleport them to Facing.

What it does

The yaw and pitch someone at one place would need to face another, and the first place turned to face it. It's a value node: no white pins, it works out its answer when a step wired to it needs it. It gives 3 values later steps can use. Find it under World & blocks in the palette.

When to use it

Use it when the flow needs to: the yaw and pitch someone at one place would need to face another, and the first place turned to face it.

When not to

For a value that never changes, type it into the setting instead of wiring a node.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

From Location

Where they stand.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a location. e.g. world 10.5 64 -3.2

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Look at Location

Where they look.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a location. e.g. world 10.5 64 -3.2

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Values it gives

Yaw Number

Left-right angle from 0 to 360: 0 faces south, 90 west. e.g. 315

If it's empty: Empty when the step didn't make one (it stopped early or was skipped); steps reading it get nothing.

Pitch Number

The first place, turned toward the second. e.g. world 0 64 0
