Text has placeholders

Whether a text holds at least one %placeholder% written like %name_thing%.

Basic plan m.papi.has_placeholder

In a flow

“When a player chats → If Text has placeholders → Cancel the event.”

When a player chats → If Text has placeholders → Cancel the event.

What it does

Whether a text holds at least one %placeholder% written like %name_thing%. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Plugins in the palette.

When to use it

Use it when the flow needs to: whether a text holds at least one %placeholder% written like %name_thing%.

When not to

To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

Text Text

The text to look in. Variables allowed.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses Hello %player_name%.
