Server & admin · Step
Set max players
Change how many players the server takes. It is not saved, so it goes back to server.properties on restart.
m.server.set_max_players
In a flow
“When a player buys a slot pass → Set max players to 25.”
When a player buys a slot pass → Set max players to 25.
What it does
Change how many players the server takes. It is not saved, so it goes back to server.properties on restart. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Server & admin in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow changes the server itself: change how many players the server takes. It is not saved, so it goes back to server.properties on restart.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Max players Number
-
How many players the server takes, from 1 to 1000. This lasts until the server restarts.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a number. e.g. 42
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses 20.
