World & blocks · Check
World is a kind
Whether a world is the overworld, the nether or the end, whatever it is called.
m.world.in_dimension
In a flow
“When a player joins → If World is a kind: nether → Give fire resistance.”
When a player joins → If World is a kind: nether → Give fire resistance.
What it does
Whether a world is the overworld, the nether or the end, whatever it is called. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under World & blocks in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow needs to: whether a world is the overworld, the nether or the end, whatever it is called.
When not to
To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- World Text
-
The world's name, like world or world_nether. Variables allowed.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses world.
