Whether a channel short name has been linked on the dashboard.

In a flow
“When the server starts → If Discord channel is linked staff-log is false → Write to the console: link it.”
When the server starts → If Discord channel is linked staff-log is false → Write to the console: link it.
What it does
Whether a channel short name has been linked on the dashboard. It's a check: put it in an If, and the flow goes one way when it's true and the other when it isn't. Find it under Discord in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow needs to: whether a channel short name has been linked on the dashboard.
When not to
To pick between more than two outcomes, Switch or Random reads better than a chain of checks.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Channel Text
-
A channel you linked on the dashboard, by its short name like chat or staff-log. Not its id.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses chat.
