m.chat.mention
In a flow
“When a player chats → Ping a player: Steve, <yellow>Alex mentioned you!”
When a player chats → Ping a player: Steve, <yellow>Alex mentioned you!
What it does
Send a player a chat line with a sound, to get their attention when someone mentions them. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Chat & text in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow needs to: send a player a chat line with a sound, to get their attention when someone mentions them.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
