Show a block cracking
Show cracks on a block to one player, as if it were being mined. Nothing really breaks.
m.fx.block_crack
In a flow
“When a player holds a click on a statue → Show a block cracking: 0.5.”
When a player holds a click on a statue → Show a block cracking: 0.5.
What it does
Show cracks on a block to one player, as if it were being mined. Nothing really breaks. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Effects in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when the flow needs to: show cracks on a block to one player, as if it were being mined. Nothing really breaks.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire
- Player Player
-
The only player who sees the cracks.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a player. e.g. Alex
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
- Block Location
-
Where: wire a location in, like Location from Player location, or type world x y z.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a location. e.g. world 10.5 64 -3.2
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.
- Progress Number
-
How broken it looks, from 0 (whole) to 1 (nearly gone).
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a number. e.g. 42
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses 0.5.
