Timers · Step
Change a timer's interval
Change how often a repeating timer runs. Its next run is counted again from now.
m.timer.set_every
In a flow
“When a player enters a region → Change a timer's interval: arena_clock, every 10 ticks.”
When a player enters a region → Change a timer's interval: arena_clock, every 10 ticks.
What it does
Change how often a repeating timer runs. Its next run is counted again from now. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Timers in the palette.
When to use it
Use it when timing matters: change how often a repeating timer runs. Its next run is counted again from now.
When not to
If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.
Typical wiring
Sockets: settings you can wire

-
A name for this timer, so Stop a timer can find it, like arena_clock.
What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there
If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses timer.
