Whisper to a player

Send a private line to one player and the sender, and make each the other's reply target. They can stop it by ignoring the sender.

Basic plan m.chat.whisper

In a flow

“When a player uses a command → Whisper to a player: Steve, Meet me at spawn?”

When a player uses a command → Whisper to a player: Steve, Meet me at spawn?

What it does

Send a private line to one player and the sender, and make each the other's reply target. They can stop it by ignoring the sender. It's a step: it runs when the white wire reaches it, then the flow carries on from its Then pin. Find it under Chat & text in the palette.

When to use it

Use it when the flow needs to: send a private line to one player and the sender, and make each the other's reply target. They can stop it by ignoring the sender.

When not to

If nothing should change in Discord, a value node or a check is lighter.

Typical wiring

Sockets: settings you can wire

From Player

Who sends it: leave unwired for the player who started the flow.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a player. e.g. Alex

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

To Player

The other player: wire one in, like Player from Find player.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in a player. e.g. Alex

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, the step runs without it.

Message Text

What they say. Variables allowed; MiniMessage tags like <gold> work.

What goes there: Type it in the side panel, or wire in text. e.g. Hello there

If it's empty: Optional. Left empty and unwired, it uses Meet me at spawn?.
